SWRK 6053 - Social Work in Health and Mental Health Settings3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
Prepares students for advanced social work practice in health care. Students gain knowledge, skills, and proficiency in applying theoretical models and evidence-based interventions. Focuses on five critical health practice competency areas: psychosocial assessment, treatment interventions, interdisciplinary teamwork, ethics, and leadership. Prer., Graduate Social Work students only. Meets with SWRK 4053.
