SWRK 4053 - Social Work in Health and Mental Health Settings

3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
Prepares students for advanced social work practice in health care. Students gain knowledge, skills, and proficiency in applying theoretical models and evidence-based interventions. Focuses on five critical health practice competency areas: psychosocial assessment, treatment interventions, interdisciplinary teamwork, ethics, and leadership. Prer., SWRK 1001, SWRK 3001, SWRK 3002 and SWRK 3268. Sophomore standing. Social Work majors only. Meets with SWRK 6053.
