Focuses on the various roles of women in American society within historical, socioeconomic, and cultural contexts; changes of these roles and contexts. Approved for Compass Curriculum requirement: Inclusiveness (Global/Diversity) and Summit. Prer., 3 credits in WEST, or SOC 2250 or WEST 1010 (formerly WEST 2010). Meets with SOC 4040.
