ENGL 4820 - Classical Rhetoric

Introduces the theories, practices, and cultural power of rhetoric in ancient Greece and Rome. Also engages the debates surrounding the relevance of classical rhetoric to the teaching of writing today. Prer., ENGL 3010, ENGL 3110, and senior standing, or instructor permission. Meets with ENGL 5820.
