With the increasing pace of technological development and globalization of our economy, global supply chains are becoming increasingly critical to competitive success. Competition is more often between supply chain networks rather than between individual companies. Companies must carefully consider their core competencies and develop collaborative relationships with upstream suppliers and downstream customers to deliver value to the ultimate consumer.
