CJ 3545 - Mental Health and the Criminal Justice System

This course explores the relationship between mental health and criminal behavior. Focuses on the nature and prevalence of mental disorders among criminal populations, the correlates of violence and mental disorders, and institutional and community-based treatment of mentally ill offenders.
