Graduate Certificate in Teaching Sociology The graduate certificate in teaching sociology is offered to sociology graduate students interested in practical training in the process of teaching sociology at the college level.
Dr. Heather Albanesi is the coordinator of the Graduate Certificate in Teaching Sociology.
General Requirements
- Minimum requirement for completion: three courses, for a total of nine credits.
- A minimum grade of 3.3 is required for each course applied toward the certificate.
- All courses must be at the 500 level or above in Sociology; independent studies may not be used to earn this certificate.
