Examines how systems of inequality are perpetuated and maintained through social institutions, such as family, education, media, economy, medicine, and the legal system. Race, gender, sexual orientation, disability status, and class are considered. Themes include power, domination, and ideology.Prerequisites: WEST 2010 or WMST 201 or EST 201
