Free and forced single-degree of freedom systems. Damping: Rayleigh, Coulomb, hysteretic, and viscous. Harmonic motion, frequency-domain representation, harmonic forcing. General forcing, convolution, and response spectra. Computational techniques for solving simple vibration problems.Prerequisites: MATH 340, MAE 2102, C S 115 or equivalent
