An examination of the forces which determine national income, employment, and prices; use of government policy to combat inflation and unemployment; balance of payments problems; theories of growth for developed and less developed economies, poverty, and consideration of alternative economic systems.Note Approved for LAS Social Science area requirement.Prerequisites: ECON 101 or ECON 105
