ECE 5640 - Spread Spectrum Communications Systems3 Credits
An in-depth study of spread spectrum systems including implementation and performance. This will include effects of hostile interference on spread spectrum system performance, acquisition and tracking of the spread spectrum signal and an introduction to coding techniques used to mitigate the effect of jamming. Prospective students should have previous course background in signal analysis, probability and digital communications.Prerequisites: ECE 4630/5630 or equivalent
