WEST 3370 - Boricua Crossings: Puerto Rico and its Diaspora3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
This course explores the historical and contemporary experiences of Puerto Ricans in the United States through an interdisciplinary and intersectional lens. Students will examine the origins of these diasporic communities, with attention to political and socio-economic conditions in Puerto Rico. Approved for LAS Humanities and Cultural Diversity area requirements. Prer., WEST 1010.
