HSCI 7030 - Statistics

An introduction to statistical reasoning. Emphasis on practical application of traditional statistical methods. Topics include descriptive statistics, probability, binomial and normal distributions, estimation, and hypothesis testing for means and proportions. Additional topics may be selected from various parametric and non-parametric methods. Prer., Undergraduate statistics course, Health Science graduate students only. Laptop is required in class and purchase of a 6 month license of the software, SPSS Grad Pack, is required.
