COUN 4830 - Co-Occurring Disorders, Trauma-Informed Care, and Ethics II3 Credits (Minimum) 3 Credits (Maximum)
This course presents the basics of working with clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The concept of trauma-informed care will be discussed in terms of practices incorporated into treatment with diverse populations. Ethical decision-making models will also be discussed. Prer., COUN 3000, COUN 3400, PSY 3280.
